EMW lax was established by former Syracuse University midfielder Drew Searl in 2001 for the purpose of allowing Western kids the opportunity to gain exposure to the best lacrosse players and coaches in the game without having to travel to the East Coast where this type of exposure primarily exists. The idea is to bring the BEST staff here into their own backyard, hence "East Meets West" and to do it at a premium cost. The EMW staff is traditionally one of the best lacrosse camp staff's assembled in the country and includes professional players from the MLL and NLL, collegiate players, collegiate coaches, high school coaches and professional MLL coaches.
Participants in the camps and clinics must be ready to learn and except the great knowledge this staff has to offer them about what it takes to win and be a Champion. Mediocrity is being promoted to today's young athlete, this is unacceptable. Mediocrity will not be promoted at EMW, this staff enjoys working with young athletes and is passionate in seeing young athletes succeed. Participants will be here to learn and get better so that they can "be" the best! The EMW staff will give them the tools. |
