A note from EMW director and former Syracuse University midfielder Drew Searl about the clinic staff:

Joining me again this year to work with the shooters is current MLL star Jesse Hubbard from the Baltimore Bay Hawks and former LA Riptide star Michael Watson. Jesse is well known throughout the game as the best pure shooter the sport of lacrosse has ever seen, this is why he is a 1-time league MVP, a 5-time All-Pro and is the current reigning all-time leading goal scorer in MLL league history. Jesse, who spent his first seven seasons with the New Jersey Pride, also set the MLL single-season record by scoring 54 goals during the '02 season. Jesse is also the all-time leading goal scorer for Princeton University, where he was a 3-time All-American and won 3 National Championships. Jesse was a member of the '98 USA World Team and helped lead them to winning the '98 World Championship. Jesse is the head of all product development for Warrior Lacrosse and is a player for the Marin Lacrosse club.

Michael Watson played for the Boston Cannons from '01-'04 where he racked up an impressive resume being named an All-Pro twice and was named the Cannons team Offensive Player of the Year in '03. While with the Cannon's, he once scored 20 goals in a span of 4 games, which is the best four-game stretch in MLL league history. After leading the MLL's Boston Cannons to the Championship Game in '04, Inside Lacrosse Magazine dubbed Michael Watson as ‘The MLL’s Most Electrifying Player'. Michael officially retired from the MLL in '07 with the LA Riptide. In his finial year he lead the Riptide in goals and was once again named an MLL All-Pro. Michael was a member of the '02 USA World Team and helped lead the USA to winning the '02 World Championship. In college he was a standout at University of Virginia. While at UVA he racked up honors as a four-time All-American, '96 NCAA Attackman of the Year, Four-time All-ACC, MVP of the '96 NCAA Tourney and '94 ACC Rookie of the Year. This clinic will include shooting demonstrations by Jesse, Mike and myself, followed by instruction, station work and drills at which you can improve your shot under the expert eye of our staff. Players will end the day by shooting on the goalies from the EMW Goalie Clinic featuring Coach Jim Beardmore.

Joining me again to work with the goalies is former Major Indoor Lacrosse star Jim Beardmore. Jim was a 2-time All-Pro and played 6 years of Professional Indoor Lacrosse for both the Washington Wave and the Pittsburg Bulls. As a Professional, Jim would play the first half of games as a goalie and would return for the second half with a short stick and play as a midfielder. Jim played in college for the University of Maryland where he was a 1st Team Division 1 All-American, ACC Player of the Year and 1st Team All-ACC. Jim was famous for never wearing a "chest protector" when playing goalie at Maryland, he was confident in his style of play and quick enough to stop shots with his stick. After graduating from Maryland the NCAA evaluated this and enacted the current rule that all players must wear all protective equipment at all times. Jim has been as far as Japan and Australia to coach lacrosse and is a Director for Nike Lacrosse Camps. Jim was the Head Coach of Severna Park High School in Maryland when they won the '04 & '06 Maryland State Championships. Jim's father is the legendary lacrosse Hall of Fame coach "Bud" Beardmore who built the powerhouse lacrosse program at the University of Maryland where he won several National Championships. The goalie clinic will include coach Beardmore's personal instruction, demonstrations, favorite drills, motivation and passion for the sport of lacrosse. Goalies will end by receiving shots from the participants of the shooting clinic featuring Jesse Hubbard, Michael Watson and myself.
